BIRDS FEATHERS- Feathers are very crucial to birds. You can compare birds' feathers to the skin of humans, or the fur of animals. Feathers are an epidermal growth that form the outer covering on birds and some non-avian theropod dinosaurs.
PEACOCKS- Out of all of the birds in the world, the Peacock has the most exciting appearance when it comes to its feathers. The male peacocks use their feathers to find their mates. The feathers of the peacocks, also known as peafowls, are raised into a fan and quivered in a display during courtship.
PENGUINS- Many people think that penguins do not have feathers, but in fact they do. Penguins feathers are short, and packed very densely. The feathers keep the penguins warm although they are short. The outside part of the feathers are waterproof while the inside part of het feather traps in air to keep them cool.
Chickens- Feathers on chickens are a protective covering, protecting it from harsh weather and injury. In situations such as rain and the cold it keeps them warm. All fowl have similar yet different feather patterns and their color serve in identifying many different species.
